Well a guy cam e and looked at her yesterday and called me last night with an offer. We talked about all of her problems and he made an offer. I scoffed at first and then realized it was the best I was gonna get. I sure didn't want to see her go to a junk yard. The guy rebuilds Early Broncos and wanted a late model for his nephew to teach him how to work on a vehicle. I sure am glad she is going to a good home. Concerned I am getting screwed, but he is bringing me cash on Saturday and I will then be an ex-Bronco owner. @-)

It's ok though. I am going to neck up the Explorer with a bull bar on the front, safari rack on the roof with spare tire mount and see if I can't find some of those retractable side steps so when they are up it at least looks like it has some ground clearance. Might even see if I can find some of that diamond plate tape and try to conform it to all that plastic crap on the side. There has got to be a way to tale the Explorer from Family truckster to Family mudster. I will find a way as God is my witness. [-o<
Anyway. I thank you all for the help and the laughs and will be checking on you periodically to make sure everyone is still livin' my dream.
