Truck wont crank over????

hey all, i replaced the battery in my 90 xlt almost a month ago.. the truck has sat for a week, and only the interior light comes on. When i turn the key, the gauges move, but wont crank over... any ideas on what is killing this battery???

next time you leave it sit for a length of time, 2 weeks or more. disconect your ground from the batt. and it will almost stop all drain from the veh. comp units. did you leave your lights on??? j/k is the starter engaging? what voltage do you have at the bat?

Try the head lights, if they seem to be a normal brightness, you may have a "Neutral Safety Switch" issue. Check to see if you are getting 12V to the small, "Red with light blue stripe", wire on the start relay. If not try shifting in and out of PARK, it is possible that the contact is not quite making.
