Just wondering how many quarts of fluid I need and what is the best brand to use? I do have the small tranny cooler.

I dont remember how much fluid it uses, crap I knew that too. For some reason 7 liters is popping up in my head. The best to use would be Royal Purple, but any brand name is good stuff, the only difference is the person telling you what to use.

The 78 wC6 takes 8 quarts. I'd dump her in till it's on the stick, then build a fire in it and check it from there.

I use Valvoline, because mechanics who know use Valvoline. 'Sides them Kaintuk boys make lots 'a good things includin' oal. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> My gotowork car a 93 Buick Regal has 243000 miles on it using nuthin but Valvoline. No smokin', no tranny troubles.
