Today was my Lucky Day

Today had to be one of my luckiest days, i ran across a man towing 2 broncos. 95 and 96 from the Fbi Impound lot. He was heading to his house to cut the cats off and then he was sending them to the scrap yard for metal money, I took alook at the nicer looking bronco's tailgate and realized it was in perfect condition, and asked him how much he would charge for it, he said $50.00 so i went to his house and pulled it off, while we were talking he asked if i wanted anything else. I ended up leaving with a mint tailgate, a V-5 Tow hitch, an outside spare tire carrier w/ a tire and the inside control button for the window. To top it off he didnt charge me a thing, gave it to me for free cause im in the military. Over $1000 worth of stuff for FREE.

If anyone needs anything let me know, he said i could come back and pull stuff off he'll have it for like a week. Let me know.

put the tailgate on today with the help of the wife, works like a charm, perfect condition. I con't have bought a better one.

Was the tranny and t-case good in either one of them? How about the complete rear axle?

He called me yesterday and got rid of the truck. I have a complete axel off an 89, it needs new drums and shoes, but good other wise if you want it?
