Hey everyone, devldog here, had a question, i sadly had to say goodbye to my '90 xlt but im using those funds to get a '78 custom, the one i've always wanted. I was thinking of throwing on some 38's but wasnt sure of the 6 or 9 inch lift from JBG ( was also thinking dishing out the extra bucks for the superflex) Wanted to see what other people are running, how they feel with it, and wether fender trimming had to be done with a 6" and 38's? Also, wht tires do u guys think are best. Its a dd, so i was thinking tsl from interco but wasnt sure. Something decent on the road but nasty in the mud. Any relative feedback would be helpful, appreciate it guys!

well i can tell you that i currently have 38 inch super swamper tsl's on my 78 bronco with no lift at all..i simply cut 3 inches around the wheel wells and they fit perfect no rubbing no slicing so i think you would clear great with the 6

Hey, thanks for the feedback, yeah im really considering the 6".. are ur tires the tsl's radial or just tsl? im back and forth on the ssr and the tsl radial, but i heard the tsl radials are a bit skinner.

i have just reg tsl's on it..if you are going to be driving it everyday i highly suggest radials...somewhat less noise and you wont have a horrible thumping from flat spots in the morning
