bajas are too expensive
I can't make a specific recomendation for you, but I can point out something that you probably already know.
The Bronco transfer case is NOT limited slip like some all wheel drive cars are.
This is my understanding (I might be totally wrong so I won't at all be offended if someone jumps in and corrects me)
That means to me that the front and rear tires should spin at the same rate (When in 4X4) IF the dimensions of the tires (I.E. the actual measured diameter in particular, or better yet the circumference) is different, front and rear, they will spin at different speeds. IF they are spinning at different speeds, and the tires are on dry (good traction pavement) there will be a LOT of stress on the transfercase and the rest of the drive train. WIth this understanding it would be important that the front tires be the same dimension as the rear tires. I also understand that advertised 33 inch tires may actually vary quite a bit from one manufacturer to another, and possibly within a manufacturer's line from one model to another. With that said, you may want to look at the "actual" measured dimension, OR some sites will list the circumference of the tire, by giving the number of revolutions the tire will turn to cover one linear mile.
This site offers information on many tires, including stats of revolutions per mile

I hope this helps.
