That's pretty slick. After my 94 was stolen a few years ago by joy-riders jamming a screwdriver in the ignition, my mechanic installed a **** switch that would disconnect the ground to the fuel pump. The switch consisted of the old-style high beam headlight foot pedal. A simple tap of the switch and no fuel to start or run the engine. Thieves won't readily figure out why it won't start. It doesn't affect any radio presets and such since it's not disconnecting the battery.
But you'll be surprised the first time you step on it by accident while driving and the car shuts off...but a quick tap and she'll crank right back up.

police crusers used the same type of set up except you held the button down when shifting out of park
