The 4x4

Some one at the shop put the 4x4 on but did not lock the hubs. I did not see that and it was clicking and would not drive will for 6 blocks or so could that of mest up the four weel drive?

It shouldn't have hurt anytyhing. It just made the axles turn. I wonder about the clicking though. If I do the same thing I can hear the wine of the front differential. The clicking may be the hubs partially engaged. Do you have manual or automatic hubs?
