I have heard a lot of terms that i'm not sure what they are. How about we start a bronco glossery. I know many of them have to do with engines etc... but with the immense knowledge on here i'm sure this can help a lot of us newbies out. THanks guys.

How about a list of those terms...

I think you need to be more spefic about what terms you are looking for. Most of the ones I can think of like TTB can be found easely with a site search or a goggle search.

I think it's because people with BII's think that they're a Bronco as well but realy, they're just a Bronco too.... hehehehe That made me laugh....

Iv'e got one for you, What is meant by FULL size Bronco as apposed to a standard one?
I don't know if they sold the other Broncos down under, but Ford made several versions of the Bronco. The 2nd through 5th Generations from 1978-1996 were all based off of the F-150 Full Sized Pick-up Truck. The term "Full Sized" simply refers to those Broncos that are built on the shortened F-150 chassis. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

The 1966-1977 or "First Generation" models looked like this one:

From 1984 (I think) until 1990, Ford also built the "Bronco II" wich was based off of the Ford Ranger mini-pick up and looked like this:

I'm with Roadkill and wileec. The "Full size" is the larger of the Bronco's. Ever park a Mack truck next to a Mini Cooper? Yea, it's kinda like that. ^_^ /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

But really, the full sized Bronco's mostly use the same parts as an F-150, whereas the Bronco II use most of the same parts as a Ranger. Personally, I don't like the Ranger or the Bronco II, too small for me, being 6' 6". Last time I got in my friends Ranger, I smashed my knee on the steering column getting into it. :unsure:

TTB=Twin traction beam front axle

SAS=Solid axle swap

EB is either Early Bronco or Eddie Bauer, depending on topic (see sticky post on that issue)

CID=Cubic inch displacement, refering to size of the engine cyliders for the pistons.
