hmmm speaking of air intake noise.
Because I put a home made snorkel on, the air intake is next to my driver's window and I can hear it.
Normally it just sounds like a huge vacuum leak, with the air getting sucked in there. Then when I give it gas it sounds like a carbureted vehicle with a four barrel kicking in, well at least a two barrel

At any rate, sometimes (I think when idleing) one can hear within the regular vacuum sound a thin higher pitched whistleing sound. I apologise for not nailing down exactly when I hear it, because I am not really concerned, just curious, and the truck isn't here to take it for a ride to be more specific. I had cleaned my throttle body when I did my TPS a few months back.
SHould I take a look at my IAC, or is it a normal sound?
Haha... asking someone if a sound is normal in an email is as silly as... asking what color am I thinking of. Oh well.
