I have been asking around about a steering shaft conversion on my 70 Bronco. I recently purchased a new steering box (4x4x2) and need to modify my steering shaft to line up with this box. I wanted to install a 2 peice power steering shaft from a factory power steer equiped Bronco so that I would have splines going into the u-joints rather than a weld. I was told that the only one that would go into my 70 column correctly was out of a 73 with power steering. Can anyone tell me if that is true? Does anyone have one for sale? Thanks guys
