Started small repair but has turned into a major restore ,I have the body off of the chassis ...only three body bolts holding! I have had the body sand blasted mostly to clean any old bondo and fiberglass repairs I plan to replace floor pans and U channel that was cut out What do you guys think of using the spray in bedliner for undercoating , I also plan to spray from the firewall to the tailgate with the same .

It might work if you prepped it right. I'd check the heat rating on it first though. The exhaust system gets aweful hot. It'd **** if it melted down onto your muffler.

ever see how close exhaust runs to gas tanks?

your exhuast isn't gonna be touching it and dealers rust proofed cars for years,do a good job and don't worry about it,if the floor board of your truck got 200 degrees your feet would be more than sweaty and melting bed liner would be the least of your worries.

Hey a good rust solver is from JASCO, prep and prime, this stuff turns rust back into iron oxide....black steel, then rust primer with heat resistance, I went with a 2part epoxy paint when iI did my 63' willys. Easy to patch if you do a lot of wheelin. Course those spray in bed liners are probably a one time deal. You would probably get some sound deadening from them too. Hold up to pressure washing....an idea is starting..... >:)
