Does anyone happen to know where I could find myself a soft top for my 87? I really want one for the summer and cannot find them, and would anyone know about what that would cost? Thanks.

Check eBay as the comany that was producing them has gone out of business.

They ran about 600 new.

which company? i found some good ones at JBG.

Your best bet is try to find a used one on E-bay or somewhere. The company that went out of business is STC (Specialty Top Company). They were the makers of the "out of stock" tops on JBG. They were originaly made by another company, I think it was Skyler or something like that, but they sold out and the business was taken over by STC. Hopefully someone else will start making them, but until then, used is the only way to go. If you are good at fabricating stuff, maybe you could make your own frame and get someone to special make the cloth part for you.

By the way, I paid around $650 new for mine.

Looks like a great find. / Of course, now that its posted here, you might get a little competition when you bid on it. $-) (Lots of people looking for them) When I bought mine, the ones with snaps like this one has sold for about $100 cheaper than the snapless kind I bought. I have a friend with the snap one and he is just as pleased with his as I am with mine.

sure with more competition, but what kind of man would i be if i didnt share? it would make me a troll...and we dont want to be a troll now do we? besides, its tax season, so my pockets run deep.

i have been talking with the seller on that ebay post. his reserve is at $300, which means he wont sell until it hits his reserve. which is a bummer, but hey, if anyone was interested in it, that is the info i have...
