I need to search the VIN # on my bronco to get the right year model. I was told it was a 66, but I'm not sure. Any ideas on how to find out?

The VIN number is attached to drivers side door or glove box. The last five numbers on VIN will tell you the year according to production sequence. In '66, the production sequence started at 732001 and stopped at 914000. (The VIN should be on the top left of plate)

Early Broncos (built in '65) 1966 models will usually have the Vin tag on the driver side kick panel., just to the left of the emergency brake pedal.

Later on it was moved to the glovebox door (big mistake) and also stamped on the top of frame, by the starter.

The eng. # (if orig. eng.) can get you close. i.e. C6------- would be a '66 eng.
