I just installed the Rough Country 6" system in my Bronco about 3 weeks ago. My buddy and I did it in 8hours.......It comes with everything you need....you don't need anything but patience and pavement to work on. There really wasnt anything that hung us up either. Just follow the step by step directions... The factory rivets that need to be removed we did with a heavy duty Snap-On air chissel...(believe me this will save you time!!!) The ride is nice too...My wife would definitely complain if it wasnt....no it is not all soft and cushy, but it doesnt bump all over the place either.....

txb07, post a link to the site selling the kit and the price, or give a part no. if you can. The basic RC kit you describe runs about $460-$480. IF you have the quad front shocks, you might want to get 2 extras, or just run the single behind the coils. Do'nt forget to find a good shop to do the alignment, too. A few friends and I recently installed a 4" RC kit on a 96 Bronco in about 10 hours. All we needed to buy extra was a 9/16" drill bit for one of the axle drop brackets. THe owner is pleased with the ride, too, and he wheels the tar out of it most weekends, JSM84

my buddy has the pro compe 6" and that truck rides smoother than it did with it's stock suspension. I personally would go with pro comp.

i swore i had read they were rough riding but i trust yalls advice. now my curiousity is piqued. it looks like it is directly from the manufacturer themselves.

it comes with free single steering stabilizer. but, dual stabilizer upgrade is $85. total cost w/ shipping and 6 shocks (nitro upgrade) is 721. tack on 85 for sual stabilizer.

is dual stabilizer needed?

Actually for my purpose, My buddy told me I didn't have to have one....and he was right, the 38's go straight down the road and dont pull out of my hands on the bumps......Now , off road may be a different animal, and that is out of my ballpark....Oh, my system w.o. stabilizer was 700.00 so your in the ballpark....The brakelines do need to be lowered. For now I just took out the nut and clip holding the line in place and pulled out some slack....It is working sweet, but I will be upgrading to longer stainless lines....

well not to hijack this dudes thread but, it comes with a single stabilizer, the dual is an $85 upgrade whats the difference and is it worth it. this will mainly be for street and occassional (very occassional) mild offroading.
