just bought a full size 94 eddie bauer. a much appriceated upgrade from my beat to **** 89 bronco II. so my quest for a 6" suspension and 3" body lift is here. as you know there are a few companies out there and my online-researching and bargain hunting has left me stumpped. seems like there are so many different prices and then to make it trickier, some companies charge extra for extra little things you need like brake lines and bump stops???????

so my question is to you guys; what lift company or kit would YOU go with? and cost? or if yours is lifted what one do you have and are you satisfied?? i'd really like to get EVERYTHING i need to do it at home in a weekend.

*i guess i should say that this truck will not be seeing any extreme off roading or rock climbing. its mostly going to be tacking on the highway miles. and towing. but i will hit the sand on the beach and of course im going to have to wrap it up in the mud occasionally. i'll leave the crazy wheeling to my lil bronco sportin 35" baja claws. i love that little tank.

thanks fellas, any input will be appreciated.

I was really happy with my Skyjacker Class II 6" suspension lift kit that I had on my 84 Bronco for a few years. The kit came with tubular, extended radius arms, coils, dropped Pitman arm, shocks, drop brackets for the axle beams and rear lifted spring packs. The kit now costs about $1600, but is very stout and well-made. I ran 35" tires with the kit. I did not have a body lift, just don't like them period. I am, however, happier with my Dana 60 SAS and how simple it was to put under the Bronco. Other than the axles, only cost so far has been new shocks (the front crossmember was actually free and made from some scrap metal around the shop) and new wheels/tires. I have a few pics at superford.org, link is in my profile. Welcome to Bronco ZOne, JSM84
