How much do you think a rebuild kit costs for a 360 Large Block. The 360 is in my 68 F100. The truck doesn't have the same muscle it once had. Probably because it's nearly 40 years old. I think a rebuilt engine would do it good. Oh yeah, it only runs on 7 cylinders. The number 3 or number 4 cylinder has no compression, so I removed the piston.

Try this link, they have them starting at $369.00. Just out of curiosety, since you removed the piston, how do you keep gasoline out of your oil? or did you r4emove the lifters also?

Good luck,

Somebody I used to work with did something to it to keep gas out of the oil. Probably removed the lifters, but I'm not exactly sure.
