Hey guys I'm sure this question has been asked before but I searched and couldn't find anything. Does anybody know what your supposed to do with the rear shoulder belts when you take the roof off? Thanks in advance for the help.

I just stick the belts in the compartment on the sides, or you can tuck them around the back of the seat. I have my kids seats in the back so there is not much 'excess' hangin out with the top off of the truck.

I just stick them in the sides also.

To solve the problem of safety, I got a seat from a pre-92 Bronco. I got one from an 87 model but they are all interchangeble from 1980-1996. Cost me $20 at a local "pick and pull". The older seats have three lapbelts mounted directly to the seat so there is no excess material to deal with and you can be sure that all three passengers back there are safely and sucurely strapped down.

Here are the 96 and 87 seats next to each other, you can see the one on the right has all the seatbelt parts attached to it:

Can't even tell that it is not original to the truck:

Best part was the price:

good buy!

Took me 2 yrs to get a decent van seat for under $150.00 here; finally got a near new seat for $60.oo because the "we remove to charge you more" salvage yard owner got tired of seeing me come in.

I wish I was down there!
