Radiator replacement

I plan on replacing mine during the xmas break. Any tips or tricks when replacing on on a 95 w 302 ? any recomened upgrades over stockparts?

Not really, it's pretty straightforward. The only thing I can *think* of is to maybe take a look at your fan when you've got everything out. The clutch on those will often lose a seal, leak the fluid out & then it becomes a clutchless clutch fan. You can get a new clutch for them for around $12 and this is a good time to inspect & replace it if it's bad instead of scratching your head 5 months down the line wondering why you're running hot with a new radiator.

It might be a good time to upgrade to a heavy duty radiator for extra cooling ability. If you don't have the extra transmission cooler mounted in front of the radiator, you might want to stick one of them on it also. Neither is hard to do. Drain the system, remove the hoses and transmission lines, remove the shroud, remove the two brackets holding the top radiator retainers and out she comes. It is also a good time to replace hoses since the system is drained.

Also, you might want to clean out the system by doing a flush of the system before you do the swap.

If you don't have the OEM towing package in the Bronco, then a 4 row rad will cause probs with the shroud fitment.

Modine is rated very high...they merged w/Transpro, so here is the new line-up:

I am not sure if it does have the HD towing package. Its an XL, it has the manual 4x4 floor shift, not push button...it had an aftermarket hitch put on it...anythng I should look for to tell me if it has the HD package?

You will have dual shocks on the front wheels if it has that package. I believe that Miesk5's comment about the shroud has to do with the size of it. Before I replaces my mechanical fan with a Lincoln Mark VIII fan I had the large shroud on it. The smaller shroud doesn't cover the whole radiator on the larger HD radiators.
