Question on buying

I have a chance to buy a 1977 bronco with 67,000 miles,i know the whole history of the truck and it

run good i can buy it for $5600 is that a good price and i can get a 1975,with 55,000 miles for $2500 but it has-

been in storeage for a 3 to 4 years,

any imput will help,,,,Thanks ******

Either one sounds like a good buy...unless you're in the "rust-belt" ..! Even then, I would consider either.

Having said that.., where are you...?

Well one thing you can be sure of is that neither one of them is likely to go DOWN in price. Classic EB's have been appreciating for years and a fully restored truck goes for $12K-$15K with upgraded trucks fetching close to $20K. I'd take a good hard look at each & then review just how much work/$$$ you want to invest AND how capable you are of doing your own work & then decide. It will be much more expensive to rebuild a partial basket-case if you have to write a check to everyone who touches it. If you can pull the body yourself & replace the drivetrain then your costs typivally take a significant nosedive. If you can do a lot of your own work then you'll reap a larger reward buying the cheaper truck, if you're paying to have it restored you'll save $$$ by starting with a more solid foundadtion that doesn't need as much. Also pay special attention to accessories (power steering, brakes, Dana 44 vs 30 axles, etc, etc). Take some time to educate yourself about what's what in the Early Bronco world and you'll be able to make a *much* better choice.

Depending on the condition, I would buy both. Even if the 75 in a mess, if it is decent shape, you kind of cant go wrong for $2500.
