Question About Tires

i have a stock '89 Eddie Bauer with 31" tires and am looking to get 33" at least. would i need to get some kind of lift kit? or what is the biggest you can go without getting a lift? thanks.

you cold get away with 33's on it, but expect some rubbing. I wouls go with atleast a 4 inch suspension lift
