If your 90 Bronco has the E4OD tranny which is computer controlled, you may need to "trick" the ECM into thinking it's in Neutral in order to install a manual tranny. Check out www.fordfuelinjection.com for more info.

The 87 np435 I'm putting in my 88 has a wiring harness that plugs into the 8-pin connector from your automatic's neutral start switch. (Just count the pins inside the male end.) The other end of that harness has a 2-pin connector that plugs into the housing of the NP435. (Not only does the truck need to know when it's in Neutral to start, but also when to turn the back-up lights on.)
