Have a 88 B2 2.9, 5 speed, 4wd ...... problem is a definite miss at cruising speed,no noticeable problem at full or hard throttle just when at idle or not under full throttle ...... I am going to start with the easy fix .....fuel filter, O2 sensor, check vacuum lines, etc both valve cover gaskets are leaking badly,will replace them as well but is there something else I should start with to fix this ......maybe this is a common problem and I am missing something?????? Thanks

new: spark pugs,dist. cap and rotor, plug wires: put all new and call me in the morning lol.
but seriously that is what i would do, it helped mine allot!!!
if you did 1 do the other 2, if 2 do the other 1, these in my opinion are the most important thing to change when it don't run right. then go from there.
