I have a 78 bronco with a big block 400. My automatic transmission went out so I picked up a borg warner T 18 for it. Yes im changing it to manual. Now come to find out the bellhousing wont bolt up. What options do I have and still be able to use my power train? Are there other bell housings that I can use or some where I can get an adapter or do I need a different motor or trans? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thx!

Hi 78., welcome.....

Try Advanced Adaptors.

Off the top of my head you'll need the bellhousing., poss. an adaptor for mating it to the trannie., & an adaptor for the mating to the T-case....along with all the other piecee-parts for the stick shift.

However.,

"Now come to find out the bellhousing wont bolt up."

Un-clear....RU saying the T-18 won't bolt up to the current bellhousing.... or your new(er) trannie & bellhousing won't bolt up to your eng. block..?

Do fill in your info. pages so we'll know where you are, what you have, etc., etc.

Advanced adapters, ill give em a try. Ya the automatic is a one piece unit. Cast aluminum bell housing doesnt remove. The t18 bellhousing only bolts up to small block motor. Thx for the help, lol, ive looked every where I swear for a solution. Ill check advanced adapters out.

Adv. Adaptors is on the left-coast...

That's why it's important to fill-in your sig. so we will know where you are.

Tom's on the left-coast has some FS Bronco parts new, & used.

Also JBG on the right-coast....& there's many others.
