any opinions on what would be more profitable? I have a 96 bronco black with the midnight package (no chrome, all black trim) she is not in good mechanical shape, 180,000 miles, needs alot of work, body is almost perfect, transmission needs work, engine leaks oil, however she would make an excelent hobby truck. i just dont have the time or skills. Should i part her out, sell as is, or just junk it. any insight is appreciated. thanks in advance.

Post a picture or two, but my openion is to sell as is if you don't want to get it done by a mechanic. If you part it out you will be stuck with whatever is left over. Put it up on ebay making sure to list all the faults you know about with pictures.

Sell it.....(way better shape than most rigs that get sold)

However, don't try to squeeze every last nickle you can get.

"Profit" is not the key here....

Put a good price & get it out of your hair...!

I agree, try to sell the whole vehicle. IF you part it out, prepare to store it for a long time. I've had my 88 for almost 3 years parting it out and using pieces for my 84 Bronco. You can make some money of the body parts, but most requests are for mechanical items. JSM84

right!

also, beware of the always present "low-baller" who will really offer just a few dollars. Had a van that we sold for 1800. but same crew kept setting us up for test drives and tried to get it for 300.

Took awhile to weed these dudes out and narrow it down to reg. guys.

Gas prices are killing sales prices, so be ready to sell it for whatever it takes to give you piece-of-mind th,o as Bob and others have wrote.
