My mechanic told me he needed some panhard bar bushings. Anybody got a clue what this is and another name for it. I went to my local auto parts store(autozone) and they had no clue. My mechanic said it maybe called something else, but he has always called it panhard bar. If I'm not mistaken it is the bar that helps control the frame from rocking when turning??

Thanks in advance

Patrick

Ford refers to them as "track" or "tracking bar" All the EB supply houses have them. (not sure 'bout auto parts stores) It's there to keep the front axle centered under the frame. Diff. size bushing on ea. end.
