Hey everyone: have another Question for ya , I have a 95 XLT 5.0 auto W/4" lift and 33x10.5x15 alterrains I was wondering have a od shitch on the shift leaver I normally drive with it on and once in a while ill hit the off button but it seems to drive the same and hopeing im not messing up the tranny any suggestions (should I run it in the off position when driving in and around town ) Thanks Again

Thornbird's right. You've got a computer to figure out when to turn it on and off for you. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> The only time you need to turn it off is when towing or climbing steep hills when it has trouble deciding for itself what gear to use.

On my Expedition I keep it off, it seems my cruising in town speed is too fast for 3rd but not fast enough for 4th. It chugs a bit thenshifts down, then up then chugs. ****** me off, I like throttle response. Anything over 45-50mph I leave it on. And towing you definately want it off, burn out that tranny in no time
