noise while stopped in gear

I have a 92 Bronco and when i pull to a stop light i get a like rattling noise but when i put it in neutral it goes away, also when i put in reverse i get the same noise, and it seems to be getting louder. ALso whn I am on the expressway its loud from the rear end, I had outer bearings and new axels put in not about 8 mos ago. any ideas?

If you hear it when not moving check your catalytic conv/exhaust heat shields.

Check your motor mounts with the hood up watch the engine while somebody else switches from drive to reverse
