i went mudding the other day and now the bronco has no pick up, i mean a 18 wheeler was pulling away from me when i floored it. i checked under hte hood and saw my intake had mud going down so i looked in the filter box. there was a little water in the filter box. would a little water in the intake do that or is there a more serious problem. im building a snorkel for her as we speak.

a little update for yall, me and my buddy finally got to take a good look under the hood and started messing around with stuff. timing is way way off. spent a good hour playing around with it, its not perfect yet but we ran out of time. also we fabbed a sorkle out of 3" abs tubing, what an amazing sound.

If your timing was way off the dampner on the crankshaft may have spun the wrong way around. The timing marks are on the outer ring of the dampner and will give a false reading if it has spun, do you have a timing light or are you guessing? If everything is working you should get the timing close and the computer will finish the job if its a newer efi truck.
