"..fab a new boxed frame for the floor "
Huh...? Not sure what this means...
I am building a sub frame out of 2 X 3 Box to support the cage and either bolt to the frame a factory locations at the 2 middle and rear points or I may weld it into the frame not sure which way I will go there yet.

Mike,

You are encouraged to post pictures of your truck in the introsductions section of the site, unless it is instructional, then you would do so within the appropriate forum.

To post a pic, you must have it on your computer, Then at the bottom of a new message (if you scroll down below where you enter text) you may browse for the pic on your computer, upload it, and then select it (Mange current attachments) to be placed within your text.

"......to support the {roll} cage"

I gotcha now.... most attach dir. to the frame..will be interesting to see what you come up with. I assume you're "stacking" on top of the frame at those 4 points. (between frame & floor pan.)

Going thru the floor, & attaching to the frame..allows frame flex W/O kink/wrinkling the floor sheetmetal.

As you know, most rollbars (attached to floor only) are "cookie-cutters" meaning they would cut right thru the floor, should they ever come into play.
