what size carb did a 79 with a 400 come with? mine has a holly 500 and was thinkin about gettin the new v6-small-v8 truck avenger 470 when i rebuild it? would it be a 4bbl in that size? has anyone here used one? id really like bein able to get tipsy and not worry about the carb im used to my fuel injected 96. it seems like the factory carb was somewhere around 350cfm? is that all the motor needs im really concerned about milage. i plan on a mild rv cam and intake but not much else to the motor maybe headers if yall know of any good ones. i got quad shocks and c6 but i dunno if ill swap in my granny or lose the front shocks or anything yet.....
