New member- 1978 and a 1979 Bronco owner

Hello,
New member from Prior Lake, Minnesota. I have this Brown 1978 460 powered Bronco that came from Texas with two factory bullet holes . Seeing it was an old Outlaw Bronco from Texas I name it Waylon. My 1979 is my Bronco from High School and I finally hauled it up to MN from the old family Farm in Wisconsin to do a restoration.

yeah, good start for membership here as We Luv Pic !

2nd gen is my fav eventho I owna 1st gen. Seen some excellent solid color ones, oem paint scheme, etc. Just cant go wrong w/them ('73/9 F-series/bronk).

Welcome Kevin , I see you have the turbin wheels on it. I have them on one and another set put away. A friend was telling me the other day. He had a friend that had --get this--60SETS. HAHAHA He must really like them..My friend said he told him he just really liked them and liked collecting them and he won,t sale any of them.

11, 14 "spoke' R great (dodge, ford) any hi number or the rarer (than ford or dodge) chebby I don't like. Also the very few "spoke", tho I've only seen them once or twice. I call them all turbo, cyclone but am no sure the correct name. Researched a bit & came u w/Appliance & 1 other co who made em in the day, not sure who duz now tho...

I have 2 sets off of Bronco and a set off of a Mercury Marquis (I think it how it is spelt) They have more fins and closer together. I,m like you. I like the wider spaces more.

I tried as you can see in the third pic but the bottom of the letters didn't stick. That was an iron on I bought off the internet.

The great thing about having cars a long time is that they carry so many memories. My Bronco certainly does. I've had it 19.5 years since my son was barely years old, and he's 28.5 years old now. So, we have a lot of great memories with our adventures with it, mostly early on when we lived in an area where you had to have a truck and it was an outdoorsy person's heaven.

Yes, I know the meaning. I still have my first,but it needs alot of work-a 41 Chevrolet pick up. Gave $150 for it.

I,ve had both my 78 ,s longer then that. I think I bought in 91.
