new exhaust

i want to get a new exhaust on my 95 with 351. does anybody know much about duel exhaust? i've searched through the other topics but could not find enough info. i see where everybody is talking about turndowns. any pros cons. i am thinking most people are running flowmaster 40s but where is the best place for the pipe to come out? and are headers really worth the money? any help will be greatly appreciated

I have 90 Eddie Bauer w/ 302. With shorty headers and fowmaster 40s. Headers r the way to go. In my opinion if u run headers, run true duels and u will be happy.

i agree flowmasters are overpriced and dont sound as good as duals.

I got dual Flowermaster 40 series turned out in front of the rear tires with not cats, its cheaper to get run them run that way then it is to go all the way back with it. In my opinion it looks and sound badass, It cost me 325 including the mufflers. I also got a set of ****** Competition headers for 180 from Summit Racing so about 500 bucks all together. I think it was worth every penny i could definatley tell a differance over the stock single muffler system. Also Flows or Cherrybombs are the only mufflers ill run on my truck, there both priced pretty good too, look at magnaflow and borla those are the rip off.
