new cam

Has anyone had problems with an "RV" - type cam being incompatible with stock rockers/push rods?

Or, Has anyone had problems with high mile rockers breaking at the push rod?

Engine is an '83 5.8 bored .060 / Edelbrock performer / holley 650CFM / C6 trans. Don't know brand of cam as a machine shop did the short block.

The problem is probably that the push rods are too long and you need a shorter set.

in my case the pushrods were too short for my cam. about 30thousands if i remember correctly
