New Bronco!

i dig the retro look, if only theyd offer a retro drivetrain with it. the typical bronco owner doesnt mind getting out to lock the hubs.

I like it, the front wheel drive sux but if they make it like a poor mans land rover then it would be cool.

i think itd be cool with a 5.4 in it and solid axles. even the powerstroke if it has to be a diesel, but id want the power all the time, not just when i hit the nitrous. my fingers are already sore from the playstation buttons.

Maybe they are planning the Bronco return to be like the EB's then down the road they will release the fullsize

If they plan on putting a **** under the Bronco badging, then they can keep it. I think the new one is uglier than **** and you would have to give it to me before I had one in my garage... See my post here regarding my thoughts on this one:

I would buy it if it has a solid front axle ( wishfull thinking im sure ) all in all its true to original design with a modern twist. Bet they don't make it though. (sob,sob,sniff) guess ill just have to keep my 71 like i really have to have my arm twisted!

Hi gang, I found this thread as I was searching for official info on the concept Bronco. I was hoping to find some new info about when to expect to see it at the dealer. I sent Ford and email and got a response back basically saying that the level of consumer interest does not appear to support production efforts.

I'm not sure I would like it anyway with all the deviations from the originals but hey there are obviously others that would.

I've seen a few EB's that were updated with modern pieces and I like the way some of them have turned out. I guess that is what we are left to do if we want one. Sounds like it is time to find a decent EB and a Mustang that has met an untimely fate to make what I want. I'd like to see Ford step up with a street & trail Bronco w/ an EFI gas motor, 4 big ABS disc brakes, air bags (hauling family) and AC.

Pretty disappointing if you ask me since I want a Ford alternative to a Jeep Wrangler.

Looks like Ford is jumping on the urban 4x4 jungle craze. I wonder if the body has that nice durable plastic that falls off and scratches with a handwash You know metal and a good undercoat is getting rare!
