I have been beating my head on my keyboard trying to remember what that part is called, I totally know what you are talking about but the name is eluding me at this time.

You should get the parts in the D/C joint repair kit to take care of the worn seat. IF your driveshaft has that part welded onto the main shaft, you can have a driveline shop weld on the new piece. A used driveshaft will run about $50 if you want to take your chances that it isn't worn out either. JSM84
