Doing my control arm am I found this, the stud with threads, the passenger side has the same, but nothing attached? Is there supposed to be a brushing of some sort or did something fall off? Idk what it’s called but if I need it I want to buy it and reinstall. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Shock absorber mount.  These models had "Quad Shocks" on the front.  You can get by with two, but it will ride better if you have four.

So i just checked my truck, these isnt a hole on the top where the spring sits for another shock to be mounted? is this something that can be modified? I would love to add another shot to the front end

I've noticed that the axles will come with a lower mount even if it is a single shock set up. If you want to do 2 shocks per side you'll have to swap in the correct upper shock mount.
