My races don't fit in my hub

I purchased new wheel bearing and races from autozone. I got the races out of my hub that came off my bronco. Can anyone shine some light on why the new races don't fit. The outter race is too small for the hub and the inner race is just a bit shy big but I think I need a new hub anyways cause the hub looks like shit. The front differential should be a dana 44. and it has manual locking hubs. Could I have a different front end and I have been buying wrong parts?

Great question. I was wondering how to identify the front and rear ends on mine also. I beat that there is someone smart enough on this forum to let us know how to identify them.

Have you checked to see if you have the races backwards? Have you tried the small one on the small race slot big one on the big race slot? Might be woth a shot.

You could have also gotten the WRONG PART at the parts store. Happens all the time. Most of the parts people I deal with-----don,t know squat ---compare the old races --and take them to the store and get what you need. The books are wrong sometimes.
