My Plans......

I have been thinking alot about My Bronco and what I want to do with it. I have a list now:

1. Lift and Tires

2. Finish building bumpers

3. Winch

4. Build a Rack for over the Cab

5. Spray bedliner the entire insides Up to about 6" up the walls

6. I am thinking since I camp so much and I hardly ever carry passengers in the back of taking the back seat out and Building a framework about 12" deep, Putting plywood with hatches on top of that. Then putting a futon type pad on top of that so i could have the option of sleeping in the Bronco at times. Or if my wife wanted to catch some Z's while we traveled (Okay nobody mention seatbelt laws) Anyway, then I could have tidy storage areas underneath for my camping supplies and a bed on top.

7. Speaking of seatbelts...Man the ones in 1988 Broncos ****!!!!! I am very tall and have to slide all the way back then the seat belt is way out in front of me cause it is in a fixed position.....I just don't wear it.

8. Recover my seats in Sunbrella material. This stuff is great!

i was thinking about what a good camper vehicle the bronc would make since the top is removable and no barrier to the back. That would be cool to see.

sounds good. i want to get to the point where i can make similar mods. i deinitely want to get rid of all my carpeting and rhino-line the whole thing.
