manifold issues

I have an 85 Bronco II that wont pass emissons because it needs a thermostatic air cleaner system. I have the tube that connects to the air intake but need the piece that connects it to the manifold. I have tried all the auto parts stores in my area and also tried 2 ford dealers without any luck. I am a novice when it comes to fixing cars and really need help on how to find this piece. Any help would be amazing.

Welcome to Bronco Zone.I usually have luck finding parts like that at the junkjard.Some yards are different they may keep a vehicle there for several months to several days.Some may have loads of broncoIIs or rangers and some may have none.Some yards will let you in them and take the parts you need off yourself saving you money and seeing exactly what you need and many will not.You just have to call around and it may be worth it to travel to find the part you need.Good luck with your search.

I love going to the junkyard 40 minutes from my house I haven't been there since last year and can't wait to go.I look forward to it like a kid waiting to go to an amusement park.
