Lowering my 79

I bought a 79 bronco with a 8 inch lift. I would like to drop it down to a 4.5. Is this a major task, and what should i watch for. Also should I start in the rear of the truch or front.

It's a suspension lift. It has a 8 in block on the rear axle.

thats a rediculous block size, i didnt know they ,made 8 inch blocks, take that thing out of there before you spit them out while driving

An 8 inch block is absolutely insane. I don't like running any blocks id prefer just larger leafs...
