What is the best way to hide the light wires coming from on the top of the cab??

Zip ties and drill a hole in the roof. It's a PITA running the wires down into the cab but it works.

Interesting... are there watertight grommets that he should use, or just use silicone?

If you go to the local electronics shop or even an auto body supply store they should be able to find something, if not silicone will work.

put it inbetween the cab and the back cover, there is a place where they fit. and it seals still
