That's excellent advice!!! I feel that all of the major brands of kits like Rancho, Skyjacker, Superlift, Rough Country, BDS and a few others are similar in price and quality, it's often a matter of what optional parts you want to get, if any. Basics are longer coil springs, drop brackets for the axle beams and radius arms, a drop Pitman arm for the steering, and at least blocks for the rear springs. You'll also need longer shocks, and possibly new camber alignment bushings. Recently, I have come across a couple of folks that have had a problem with one of the axle drop brackets on the 4" Rough Country kit. The holes for bolting the driver's side bracket do not line up with the stock holes. While that can be fixxed by re-drilling or enlarging the holes, it's extra work that shouldn't have to be done. Personally, I like Sykjacker, Rancho and Superlift, and have not had problems installing those kits. The upgraded versions like the SkyJ Class II use heavy duty brackets that are powdercoated, too.
