Pretty much you pay for what you get...You could find a cheap/used kit for pretty cheap, new 6" lift kits start at around $850 and up. Also depends on the type of lift you're talking about. You can "cheat" and add blocks to the rear springs for the added lift...not usually a good idea because of axle wrap. Best way to go is to save your money and get the good stuff.

SkyJacker seems to have pretty good kits...no personal experience on that though. I'm sure you could find a ton of info if you searched the forums, but check out www.skyjacker.com. They have a ton of kits available for your year bronco.

A basic 6" suspension lift for the 80-96 Bronco will run $550-$650. Options such as longer radius arms, add-a-leafs, rear lifted spring packs and longer brake lines can run the price up to about $1700.

I'm looking to replace the front coils in my 96 with better ones. I'd like to get about an inch of lift out of the deal which I figure I could make up in the rear by adding a leaf. Any experience in this area from anyone (good or bad)? Also, are there any particularly good brands of springs to look for? I just put new Rancho shocks on and was hoping an inch of lift wouldn't mean new ones (my fingers are crossed)!

When that route in my 95 have the rancho springs and an add a leaf, + stock sized rancho 9000s seems fine but getting the alignment right was a pain. The place that I was using (had a lifetime package) could not get it. had to give up and take it to a real 4X place, they were able to get er done right. I have had good experance on the trails with this set up. It also clears my 32" MTs with only minimal bumper trim.
