I just recently had a 2" leveling kit installed..My bronco doesnt look stock anymore since its riding on 33x12.50 AT...however i felt that the $450 i spent on labor and parts was sort of a waste of money. what can I do now that i have taller shocks in the front,, to raise the rig a bit taller? maybe 1" 2"? Also why do my rear tires seem to be "inside" the wheel well.. Can i ad some type of spacers or rim adapter to push out the tire an inch or so?

1st...what kit did you use and who istalled it...2" springs and extended shocks from skyjacker ain't but about $230, the daystar kit is only $110 for the spacers(then add the shocks)...what kind of labor rate does that shop charge?

only way to raise it is with a body lift or a taller suspension lift. i'd hate to think what that shop would charge for that.

what size rims are on the truck?factory/aftermarket? what is the backspacing? i wouldn't recommend using a spacer, because of the pressure being applied farther from the end of the studs can cause them to break. some people may disagree, so that's just my opinion.

My opinion too is I wouldn't go with spacers probably run into more issues with lugs breaking off and depending on state to state laws having your tires stiking out another few inches will get you a ticket at least in Ma. you really have to becarefull about that stuff my brother had a 78 Bronco with a 10" lift and 38' boggers every time he pulled out of the driveway he got pulled over and the RMV told him he had to drop his bumpers to factory hight So good luck

The laws in Jersey say that "tires, front or rear, must be covered by some sort of body attached device." In short, something must be over the tires. As long as you have that, you could probably stick them out from lane to lane. I've seen a lot of fender flares, some with rubber mats running horizontal over the tires attached to flares, or in one case, mesh cage over the tires. Never heard of a problem with them. My guess is that something must be there to either "take the brunt" of an impact, or to eliminate water/mud/dirt/rocks from getting flung up way high and back and smashing some windshields or otherwise causing sight issues.

And Stusainte, there are laws here too about bumper height, and I've seen articles in off road mags about it. If it's too high, if you get hit by a low vehicle it's going to slide right under you and get chewed up, or it goes right into their windows and does some serious damage. Basicly, the law is bumper-to-bumper is how it's gotta be. The bumpers are a safety device for us and them. I'd much rather lose a bumper and tires than have the weight of someone sliding under my truck and not coming back out alive on my conscience.
