I've been using one for a few years and it has never leaked. I was a bit worried about that when I put it on because when you sit inside, you can see daylight in a few places but, like I said, no leaks. We have some pretty good downpoors in central Texas and it has been through them both parked and on the highway. You do have to be carefull when you wash it though. A water hose will shoot a little bit of water through if you hit it at just the right angle. Its not a problem though, it only lets a little through.

One bit of not so good news; the company that made mine (STC) has gone out of business. You may have trouble finding a new one (or a used one that someone is willing to part with) until somebody else decides to start making them. It really is to bad they shut down, my top is very well made and I have no complaints about it.
