I missed the fairlane. Dad had a 56 Pontiac the same color as your 53

While he was working in the mines. h=His boss decided to take it to town. Didn,t make it. The roads were real slick and bad. He hit a cement truck head on and never got hurt. I saw it being towed to town .With the guys wrecker. He also owned a car dealership.

a 53 model-later on he traded it on a 55 Pontiac. Because the wreck of the 52 done something to the front end.

I,m back--been getting some work done on the 78. The reason my rockers WAS NOT getting oil was because the FELPRO HEAD GASKETS---DID NOT HAVE BIG ENOUGH OILHOLES IN THE GASKETS--TO LET OIL THROUGH. I took a drill and drilled the oil holes out and now it is getting oil through the heads. We are getting hot and humid weather hear now and since I do not have a garage--plus I have weed eating to do. I am finally getting the motor back together. I down to torqueing the intake bolts and putting the distributor in it and small stuff and putting new oil back in it. Sorry I hadn,t been back sooner. I been working on the firebird to.
