...I managed to drive straight into a big ass hole.
I was off the path crossing a ravine, when boom, the truck came to a stop as the front end fell into a hole the width of the truck in diameter. It was hidden in some blackberry bushes and I didn't see it coming. The front end was up to the top of the bumper in dirt and the front wheels were just suspended in air. I opened the door and looked down into this 6-8 foot deep hole. I tried to back her out of the hole and up the ravine with almost no traction and dragging the front bumper. No luck! So I put her 4 low forward and crawled her up and out of the hole but now had the hole between the front and rear wheels. I didn't want to continue forward and drop onto my exhaust pipes. So I turned the wheel and reversed allowng only one wheel to fall into this hole again. I made it out after leaving some rubber on the inside of the hole....lol
Now here is the funny part...I went up to the house (my son-in-law) which was in eye sight of this scene and said "Dude...why didn't ya tell me about the hole down in that ravine?" He laughed and said....."Oh yea...we lost a cow a while back. My cousin found her about 6 days later stuck down in that hole!"
Wish I had taken my camera...it was a kodak moment for sure. Anyhow...no damage done...not even to the nerf bars.
I LOVE MY BRONCO!
