Im looking at two. One is broken down and has to be reassembled. Nearly rust free, and has a D44 front w/ disc brakes. The other is together, w/ normal rust, a lift installed and its auto.

Not taking purchase price as a factor; which would seem like a better vehicle? Mainly looking at the disc brake vs auto stand point. Was auto an option originally?

Sorry to be so clueless & vague. Been a Jeep guy up to this point.

Thanks

"...which would seem like a better vehicle?"

Hard to say with this limited info...!!!

"Was auto an option originally?"

Yes., but some are swap-ins.

"...a Jeep guy up to this point"

Boy., RU in for a treat....

Where might you be..??

I prefer the basket-case one...but you have to have the knowledge to assemble it..

Can you do that..?

If you want to learn more about the vehicle, buy the one that needs reassembly.
