I installed a fiberglass Pro Flow hood when I put my Bronco together. It doesn't seem like I have much airflow through my heater system. (I'm sure I need to change my heater core, but I wouldn't think that would block actual airflow). Without the vent through the hood the air I do get in smells "fumey" from the engine compartment.
Has anybody rerouted the air intake? If so, how? I want a clean installation, and I don't want to cut holes in my freshly painted hood.
I've thought about installing an air filter in the box between the inner and outer fenders, but I'm afraid it'll just get covered in mud and be useless and/or a pain to change and clean.
Any ideas?
